Welcome to Calvary! We are a fellowship of believers at the southern end of the Black Hills of South Dakota. We desire to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ through singing, hearing His Word preached, loving Him and loving one another.
We’re glad that you’re here. We invite you to spend some time getting to know us, and we hope that you’ll come away from this site encouraged to join us at Calvary this week.
Calvary desires to speak the truth in love. This means being honest about man’s inherited sinful nature and his condemned state before our holy God. When we are honest about this truth we are then able to comprehend not only the desperate need for a Savior but the extent of God’s mercy and grace. The Bible, which is our foundation of truth and authority, reveals the story of God’s provision of forgiveness and redemption through the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
Calvary is a fellowship of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our chief pursuit is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and serve Him forever through the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry for the building up of the body, and evangelizing of the lost. Equipped as individual members of His body we seek to minister to one another, provoking one another to love and good works, and to reach others with the good news of Christ.
